Privacy Policy
BeatsReply is a sales CRM and Android app operated by Beatscracker, India ("we", "us"). Businesses ("Customers") use it to manage enquiries and their sales team. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the BeatsReply website, web CRM and Android app.
1. Who controls the data
Each Customer controls the lead and team data it puts into BeatsReply, and decides who on its team can see it. We process that data on the Customer's behalf to provide the service. For account and billing data of Customers, we are the controller.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, mobile number, role and company of each user. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
- Lead data: details of enquiries received from Meta lead ads, Google Ads, IndiaMART, Justdial, website forms, WhatsApp or entered by the team, such as name, mobile, email, city, requirement, notes, stage and payments.
- Call information (Android app): with the user's permission, the app reads the phone's call log and sends the number, direction, time and duration of calls. The server keeps only calls with numbers that are leads of the user's company. Other calls are discarded and not stored.
- Call recordings (Android app): if the phone's own call recorder is switched on and the user grants audio permission, the app uploads the recording of calls with leads only. The app does not record calls itself.
- Attendance: a selfie and the device location at the moment a user checks in or out. Location is not tracked continuously.
- WhatsApp messages: if a Customer connects its WhatsApp Business number, messages with leads are stored so the team can reply.
- Device data: a device identifier (to allow one phone per user) and a notification token (to send alerts).
3. Why we use it
- To show leads to the right salesperson, set follow-ups and send reminders.
- To give owners reports on calls, talk time, attendance and sales.
- To keep accounts secure and to provide support.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
Data is shared only with service providers needed to run BeatsReply: our hosting provider, Google Firebase (for notifications) and Meta (when a Customer connects lead ads or WhatsApp). Each Customer's data is kept separate and is never visible to other Customers. We may disclose data when required by law.
5. Where data is stored and for how long
Data is stored on servers in India, with backups kept by our hosting provider in Singapore. Customer data is kept while the Customer's account is active. After an account is closed, we delete it within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Customers can export their data at any time as CSV.
6. Your choices and rights
- Call log, audio, location, camera and notification access are asked for on the phone and can be turned off in Android settings at any time. Some features stop working without them.
- Salespeople and leads can ask the Customer they deal with to access, correct or delete their data. Customers can do this directly in the CRM.
- Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also contact us using the details below.
7. Informing people on calls
Customers who use call recordings are responsible for informing the people they call that calls may be recorded, as required by law.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, per-company data separation, audit logs of changes and automatic logout of old devices.
9. Children
BeatsReply is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.
